Here is my latest rendition, incorperates the logo at the top left of the forum, the site address, Tassie and NZ and the thought was a relfective yellow/gold background and the print over in dark green. Maybe the NZ folk would prefer white/silver reflective background and black printing, so maybe a vote on that mix as well

Folks I fear Keith (Tanks) has jumped the gun as he already had organized an artist and had a few options drawn up by the time I turned around!
No flies on Tanks!! Get into it & do it ..... no good talking about it!
More info shortly but Chuck & a few others were on the ball & giving opinions.
I haven't seen the latest design but I'm sure it won't be far away!
So.......... do we tell Keith to stop & shelve the idea?
He has indicated the first batch will be covered cost wise by him.
Unfortunately I was, like others too, out of internet range at the time....

I will put up $20 towards the cost of printing.
Just to set the record straight... It is not my proposal - but Keith's/Tanks'.

My only involvement was to post the Ulysses RV Group logo to show how the inclusion of a motor home & caravan gave a clear visual recognition of what the wording referred to. At no point was I suggesting that our group logo should be similar or the same!

The further advice I gave was to have Keith change his proposal as it was far too similar to the Ulysses one.

*** News Flash***

Just had a phone call from Keith... he likes Terry's proposal & will phone him & Bruce to get the OK to go ahead with that.

Sounds like a plan to me!! :D

"tanks" here- Dear Friends, acquaintances, and other interested Forum Members:-
IT IS DONE----- AND is/has BEEN APPROVED BY THE ADMIN TEAM !
THE DESIGN OF THE NEW FORUM STICKER IS THAT POSTED BY T1-TERRY
[ there is a minor modification; The outline of AUSTRALIA and the Minor Islands is to be in-filled with Yellow to add tone to the overall visual appearance].

The Stickers will be size 4" x 4" (100mm x 100mm) and produced on Vinyl UV protected material which should have a 4 year life.

See my further posting on matters pertaining to this proposal.
Keith.

:D I wanna put $20 towards it as well, where do we send the $$
Had a phone call from young Keith all the way over on the other side of the known world and his opinion was the reflective background would only be effective at night, and most motorhomer/caravanners/travellers were off the road by 4pm getting happy hr set up, so the added cost of the reflective was possibly not warranted. I can see his logic and agree with his reasoning. Great to see someone in this great apathetic land has got the ball rolling, I'm no exception here, I'm happy to add ideas and put forward some $$, but organising stuff  On ya Keith 8-)

The reflective bit WOULD stand out at night, as in all the people wandering around at night! However, The bright yellow will work pretty well too I would think, will be going on the back end of the Swaggie. Keith, PM me a postal address :)
Who is going to distribute them, and how will that happen?
My suggestion is that if Keith is willing, then a stamped, self addressed envelope be sent to him, with a suitable donation to cover the cost of said sticker, and he can pop it in and post back. Or, maybe it can be done by a volunteer....
