Can't activate or can't login?

No Tapatalk, just straight in using Safari on the Ipad. It has only started the log in every time thing in the last couple of weeks.

Does Safari remember your credentials? i.e. do you just have to hit the login key or do you have to enter your credentials and then hit login?

Tapatalk on the Samsung Note and Windows 10 on the Laptop - all OK.

Yep, I think it's a Mac/Firefox thing?

I have to enter user name again and password (autofill) to log in

Ok. Using Safari on Mac
1.
Safari ▹ Preferences... ▹ Passwords remove address, go to Safari, browse to ozervnews and enter your credentials, clicking remember me (it should ask if you want to remember password) and logout. log back in to see if it is fixed.

or 2.
1. Open "Finder"
2. then open "applications" and open the "utilities" folder
3. Open "keychain access"
4. On the left, under catagory select "passwords"
5. on the bottom of the window there is a small square with a "+" indicating add. Click that and enter the desired website/username/password then click "add"
6. Your credentials are saved!! now open safari and go to the desired website, your username and password will be auto filled.

Thankyou for that Jon! That should help Rob hopefully but I seem to remember Ray said he's using Firefox on his Mac.
I haven't got a Mac so I can only hope someone else can assist him. (or tell him to buy a ...........)

It's too late tonight (been away for a short trip & 'pooter stayed home for once)...
I'll try a new ID in a day or so.
Maybe I'll have to back-trade to Safari...

Hi Bruce,
Just created a new username to test the theory mentioned above, but when I tried to log in I got,

"The specified username is currently inactive. If you have problems activating your account, please contact a board administrator."

So I'm contacting you...

Sorry I never saw your new ID till this morning but I've activated it now. (all new sign ups need to be activated by Admin to stop the Ruskies)
Your first couple of posts also need approval BEFORE they appear.
