Attachment size reading

Hi Bruce,
I'm having regular probs with the BB not correctly reading the file size of a pic after I've reduced it for uploading.
Herein an example. Note the file size in the original screen under the grey dialogue box.
What gives?

500kb is still pretty large, too large for lots of forums. I use an image resizer which has a half a dozen selectable sizes to quickly change pics to for uploading, takes only a few seconds for it to do a half a dozen pics at once. see here

often a problem here Ray, under 200kb is about all that will reliably go through.

There is a slight difference between KB & KiB but that should still go through.
I've struck this a few times and mostly by those with MAC computers.
If you send it to me (not MAC) & I open it in IrfanView & simply resave it again it will maintain the same pixel size but will reduce it to around 70 or 80 KB. Just for fun Ray can you send it to
admin@ozervnews.com & I'll look at it?
