Finally did it
I'd forgotten that it was also held in Chrome and Sync
Turned them all off and did as advised,
Yayy finally ok .

Nothing to the forum George but maybe your device has done an update? (or your browser did an update more like it?)

Mine working now deleted the old icon and replaced it with a new one so don’t have to sign now

Mine not working again
I re activated Chrome Sync and it's brought the fault back on board
Maybe I'll go looking for the fault tomorrow when I have more time to do things that are not on "The List"

I simply deleted the forum cookies, logged in again ticking Remember Me, and all is good.

THANK YOU George!!! I just did as you did .... and for the first time in ages I can now get into the forum without having to log in. In Firefox at least. Now to try Safari. EDIT: Same result in Safari!! Excellent. :D :D :D

George, could you remind me how to do that please. It only happens to me on 'puter. But if I use my phone then I double post or auto correct gets me.

Edit, forgot to say I am using windows 7 i think
