Gregory, WA, Port Gregory, Anna Leonowens a resident of Lynton later became governess to the wives & children of the King of Siam?
Sounds a very interesting area to visit.

Well, I have just learnt two things. That Anna and the King wasn't just a story. And she probably was Australian. But certainly had been a resident.

Yes David she was a resident & moved to Perth when the convict establishment closed, they then moved overseas after which her husband died that was when she went to work for the King, very interesting story.
