Wallaman. That does not look correct maybe Wallerman, anyway in Nth QLDand can spend a night behind Ingham Info centre to take a day trip up there.

The irrigation settlements of Mildura & Renmark along the Murray were pioneered late 1800s by the enterprising Canadian-born brothers George & William who?

George & William Chaffey.

Just looked up Chaffey dam, Tamworth, NSW, it appears to be named after a William (Bill) Chaffey but a different bloke, he was born in Tamworth, interesting read :D

One of these days I will post a question a little more difficult- thought this one would take more than one guess. Correct Shirley.
Found that in a tiny book of Australian Trivia I used back in the 70s forTrivia night.
