Good morning daily

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

"tanks" here---
We are having a cold snap at Dysart these past few mornings. The temp is down to 8 degrees at 7:00 this morning and the heater is now on just to break the chill in the room. Major has a command position in front of the heater and I am not far behind him. My old bones do not like the cold.

Good morning, a chilly 6 on the lake this AM, the sun is shinning so hopefully it will warm up.

Poor Dysart!

In our ODLA in Rutherglen this morning the weather station indicated 1.2°C @ 0730 (18.4° indoors). :? And it had been lower overnight: there was frost on both front & back yards. Back yard is mostly sheltered from frosts by a row (almost a hedge) of 50ft Eucalypts.
Birdbath was an ice rink again, too. Confused the Currawongs no end.

:? Maybe we could move to Dysart... any vineyards up your way, Tanks? 8-) :D

Shirley,
Having grown up on the shores of Lake Macquarie, I'm not surprised at this time of year. (That's 43° in the Oulde Money. :P )
I remember summers being accompanied by the wafting fragrance of rotting seaweed, too. Ah, memories...
Regards & God bless,
Ray

Ray,
Fortunately we don't have rotting seaweed in our area, so no smell, we do get some dry seaweed on the jetty when tides are high. Tuggerah Lakes foreshores have the rotting seaweed problem.

Good morning, temp descended to 4.3* overnight outside our front door. Supposedly 2* at weather station 500 metres away as I type.
