Bernie, it was wild and woolly here yesterday afternoon. Official tornado warnings had us all scurrying around getting the stuff off our decks. We were lucky here in our part of Tinana as parts of Maryborough West and other areas out that way really copped it.

We had horizontal rain and high winds. Luckily only small hail. 100mls of rain. Power was out for 5 hours so it was dinner by candlelight. Many areas are still without power due to trees bringing down lines. It has been raining in and off all day today and more expected tomorrow.

All the dams are full which is good news for those here who were having massive problems with swallows building nests under their eaves on the rendered surfaces. No exposed mud means no building material for the swallows and they appear to have decamped.

Cheers

Morning everyone, still overcast & raining, 14 degrees, the rain is enough to be annoying, light to moderate showers we need more consistent heavy rain.

Morning all,
I left the Rally at Gunnedah yesterday, rained all the way down the Putty road, but now at a MSO at Berkshire Park [Sydney].
I have to attend my [only] aunts birthday [100 tomorrow] at the KIngswood Sports Club.

Morning all from a very wet Maryborough. It’s been lovely to get good soaking rain but I wish it would go where it is needed more now.

Have friends coming for dinner so, unfortunately, I have to go shopping in town.

Cheers
