The wind has died down a bit, so today I bit the bullet and went down to my shed/studio and cleaned it up ready for some new additions. Job is all done now, so all I have to do now is find some actual space to work in....easy peasy Huh!. The bench is not really useable yet, but it will be found tomorrow and I will get back to w***.

Spent the day getting new tyres put on the caravan. Had quite a run around. One dealer would order them in, once I agreed on the price ($260 each) . This was after I had rung him on Friday for a quote and he never got back to me. I rang the dealer who is literally around the corner from the first guy. $175 each, fitted and balanced. Not only did they have them in stock, but he fitted them this afternoon. Was a huge difference in price and "service" or lack thereof.

Another long day at the lair. Had prado worked on and had to be outta here before the road was being re-sealed. So it's definitely time for a lot of ugly sleep.

We had 3 inches of rain since last night and now we are freezing. Hard to think that December is happening soon...so much for a white Christmas hey? Probably have a hail storm. It will be cold n wet, just like snow, but harder.

Rain finally stopped late last night, only to be replaced by horrendous gale forced winds. So we did the best thing that we could think of, packed the van and escaped. We are at Port Stevens with our jayco mob. A lovely happy hour this afternoon, helped us to unwind and now for a relaxing weekend.
