Cuppa's (& MrsTea's) new blog.

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

Our Patrol & Tvan were packed & stocked ready to drive back up Cape York as soon as the roads dried out - but it wasn't to be.

After a Covid induced hiatus I have just added a new post to our blog having spent the past 3 weeks off grid in the south west of Cape York
It's a 'bumper edition' with many extra pics & a few videos. I hope you enjoy it.

All I can say is Wow, what an amazing trip/adventure, thanks for sharing your truly nomadic lifestyle with us, it was so good to read, the photos & commentary re same interesting.

We took our boys back to NQ in 1980, went to Chillagoe to show them the Caves, ( free to visit ) we stayed a few days, they spent a whole day digging crucibles out of the smelter ruins, think we were the only tourists in town, on the way home we took them to all the theme parks on the Gold Coast, arriving home folk asked them about their holiday, all they talked about was visiting the smelters ruins, showing the crucibles they brought home.
