NO Hungi for this Tongueeeeeeeeeee

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

Bareback trotting?
That raises the question of how does one rise to the trot with no stirrups?
I went for a ride with my daughter last Tuesday. First time for both of us in over 20 years.
Took me quite some time getting the rhythm back WITH a saddle. Bareback? I dips me lid to ya gal.

If you can't ride a horse bareback then you can not ride at all. Comes down to balance and in tune with the horse.

Oh, I never considered myself a rider of any kind. I've always been more an unwelcome passenger on any horse I climbed up on.
But You still have me intrigued. It took me forever, years ago to get the hang of rising to the trot. I pushed myself up on the stirrups to counter the bouncing. Never did get it 100% right. I'm obviously not very rhythmic.
Bareback? I can only assume you must use your knees to lift yourself. Yes? Am I close?

Good on you Dot. I would not be able to get my leg over. [emoji15] I’ve never ridden a horse...or a bike, for that matter. ☹️

Jim you don't rise to the trot when bareback, as my day used to yell at me as some mad horse took off with me down the paddocks "put your arse down and use those knees".
Seeing as we are going to be spending a few days down at Normanville next mth I just might venture to the horse riding place and have a nice ride along the beach. :D

Don't think she'd be too impressed if I classified her as a horse but... :D

Hey Dottie,
Just caught up with your pics with the Clydey.
:? And, yes, your bum does look big in that...
But relatively speaking all is in proportion. ;)
:P
Regarding the Fentanyl:
Yes, it’s a basketball of a drug, and coming off it is neither easy nor pleasant.
And in combination with Dexamethosone ... a doozy of an impact.
Cutting down on Dex is as much fun as with Fentanyl.
Just hang in there, girl. You WILL come out the other end alive!
Hugs from me ‘n’ her. 😙
Regards & God bless,
Ray
