Thought for Today

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

Especially for Tanks -- in anticipation of his order of red stuff.

HOW TO OPEN A BOTTLE OF WINE

1. Remove cork/unscrew cap to allow the wine to breathe.

2. If it doesn't appear to be breathing, give it mouth-to-mouth resuscitation.

Good friends are like stars.

You don't always see them,

But you know they're always there.

Had our Council-sponsored gardener here for our designated hour’s work around the house yesterday.
Asked him to dig a hole big enough to plant a tree.
He said a hole that big would take two hours... so he only dug half a hole. 😝

It might have been easier to get a used one from the demolition yard. Those pre-dug holes can save a lot of work.

HEY! Never thought of that!
Although a used hole could be worn thin in places... might need some patching before I could use it... 😝

Shirley,
The council-sponsored gardener (1hr/mth) is eventually funded by Fed Govt. I have a ‘Blue Sticker’ for our car... you know, with a stick figure in a wheelchair.

Ok Ray, guess if the 1hr a month gardener is Federally funded it would be available Australia wide, never heard of it around this area, many who qualify get financial help with lawn mowing.

Getting one the correct shape and dimensions could also be a problem, but at least they would be light weight :?
