Thought for Today

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

Remember when you could have a gay old time sitting on a 'poof' with a tranny & sucking on a fag...

And no one was offended... ?

T'other day I followed a Suzuki Swift in traffic.

I think the model should be re-named the 'Not Very'...

A bit harsh from a long term Suzuki lover!  But then again, you sold a worn-out Suzuki to a friend.   I hope Terry doesn't see this.

 Happy with our purchase of Jim the Junior Jeep, didn't expect it to be a rapid transport vehicle and after driving 2500km in the Hino last week, I am now well conditioned to slow motion travel  The pump rebuild did stop the clouds of black smoke, but it also killed the top speed and grunt we had before the pump failed. The fuel economy is the same if not a tad worse, so it didn't help there either.

We were well used to 'leisurely' acceleration in Jim.
Then we bought the 'Supercar'... originally named because of the large S in the middle of the grille (and 'Baleno" didn't lend itself to naming like Jimny - Jim - the Junior Jeep).
After driving it home - and running the engine in a bit - I planted the boot to overtake a car on the highway. :o The name then became doubly appropriate for a turbocharged 1 litre light car with a six-speed auto gearbox. Good thing I don't wear a wig... I'd be constantly retrieving it from the back seat. 8-)
