Thought for Today

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

haha ... ducks, shags & darts ......... don't get me going!!
Don't you love it when the houseboat next to you feeds them all on their back deck?
Then the seagulls, pelicans, spoggies and even a crow start attending the feeding station as well ............
I love city people ............
(Don't we Brian?)

 You'll have to adopt Brian and Michael's tactics, feed the birds on the neighbours back deck while they are away  As long as they are feed in the same place they will always return there and not come to your boat expecting a hand out. Then the neighbours can see the down side of feeding the local wildlife from the back of their boat

Bruce you need to add the swallows to that list 🤣🤣🤣but I do think the shags make more mess.

We have renters moved into a property east of us, they have set up a large feeding dish protruding from the deck, so we have every type of bird arriving daily, the worst I think are the Sulphur Crested Cockatoos, so noisy, guess at least they do seem to be feeding them bird seed & not bread.

Feeding wild birds is a little different to shooting them.
We feed a family of Magpies, which has grown from two to seven, and looks like growing further this season.

Bird killers abound, they were here before we were and still say the human grubs are far worse. Even where toilets are provided the dirty buggers still poop where ever they want. :( On saying that I am going to chuck out a few old carrots for the roos that visit the gravel pit..

Singing from an old sheet Dot?
One of these days ....
................................ you'll do a trip on smooth roads, won't come across one bad semi driver, won't find any toilet paper in any gravel pits, the weather will be perfect and then you'll wake up & find out it was all a dream!!!

:) 8-) :D
