Thought for Today

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

T1, are you doing science again.😆 . I think a few might have missed it.
The news services are trying to find anything to talk about the doesn't involve covid19. Some of the splinter groups will try to bring the BLM cause here, just to get their head on the news.

I see the 10 network channels are all running a short white on black message about supporting the BLM after each ad break as one of those channel promotion bits.
We might get the protest solidarity rallies here in Australia, but the riots and smashing up shops and burning buildings, the protesters themselves won't stand for it and those doing the wrong thing will end up much worse off than those causing the trouble in the US.
The Cronulla "riots" as the press liked to call them was just the reaction to muslim men with a twisted idea of their superiority beating up on some surf lifesavers who came to the defence of a woman being harassed. It was around the same time as the problem with others of like thinking were kidnapping and raping young women, but you never see news articles about the payback that caused.
Thankfully, the Aussie spirit of what is right and wrong is still alive and well

There's a new Facebook site called White Lives Matter.
I think I might be the only member so far.

But a far as being a political person on a public site ( other than that one I mentioned) I don't say anything except that Ch10 should get rid of the sleazy perverted Iranian and get a token muslim that at the very least has a personality.

All lives matter. White privilege is largely unseen by those who have it, but is obvious on an everyday basis to those who don’t. Hence the need for the Black lives matter movement. A White lives matter site would just be offensive.

How come it is OK to have the Black Lives Matter rallies, but it wasn't OK to have the ANZAC day marches across Australia?

My life matters, I get what the protesters are about, but if they create a second and third wave that were not on the cards and I die, do I not matter ?
