Australian Trivia Only

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

It is Walhalla. We were there in May. It is a great little place to visit. Certainly has it's fair share of history. If only the little train had a steam engine.
I think JonD wins the prize . I thought it would take a little longer than a few hours though. Maybe next time.
Well done to all that were correct.

David, the Walhalla railway does have a steam loco although I believe it hasn't been used for some time. It's a Henschel built in Germany in 1956,

When we were there back in May the woman at the station told us that they couldn't run steam due to the ever present fire restrictions. When I asked about all the NA pics on the walls, she said they brought them down on a truck, did a few runs then took them back to Belgrave. I had always thought that Ron Cain was restoring NA 8 that was once in a park in Beaumauris, as it originally had run on that line, way back whenever. It isn't the same if it is diesels.

Ray, see my post above or three. Jon D was the first to guess it. Anybody could probably jump in if they have a photo.
