Australian Trivia Only

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

The Botanical Gardens in Brisbane has a tree growing that was planted in 1868, who planted it, where did it come from & what type of tree is it ?

No one interested in trivia, I think.
Planted in 1868 by Queen Victoria's son Prince Albert, the Duke of Edinburgh is the Cook Pine (Aravcaria columnaris) native to New Caledonia, the tree is an outstanding example of its species due to its age & size, 45 metres, more info re same if you're interested in reading about Brisbane's historic botanic gardens. :D

I gave up ages ago with the Aussie Trivia as nobody was interested apart from about half a dozen of us- maybe.
Time is passing too quickly so live life to the full with your spouse/partner while you still have she/he by your side.
