Bedroom window view

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

Wendy WOULD be jealous!!!
Her view is just not that good I'm afraid. (in more ways than one!)

...or is the schedule un-flexible? (help Ray?)
Lesley,
Agree on the pic... we had to bypass Milford Sound because of huge sea swells from a storm 100km SW. :(
If I'd been able to get a photo like that, I'd have it hanging on the wall in Very Large format!

Bruce,
The word you're looking for is 'inflexible'.
Glad to be of service... :P

Ray

That photo was taken on my iPhone. Here is another, though taken from the Zodiac looking back at the ship. The weather was perfect.Image

Give Wendy our best wishes Bruce. I hope her bedroom view improves very soon.

Yes Bruce, the balcony is wet from sea spray and a light shower. Hence why I was standing inside with the door open.

Unfortunately, yesterday’s Zodiac tour of the Snares Islands had to be cancelled due to high seas. So after a few circuits of the islands in the ship, the schedule was rearranged and we headed through really rough seas to Enderby Island, the more northerly of the Auckland Islands. This morning will be a 2 hour Zodiac tour along the cliffs and this afternoon a 2.5 hour hike across the island.

This morning’s view from the balcony.ImageImage

Anchored in Sandy Bay, Macquarie Island this morning with hundreds of King Penguins surrounding the ship. Not great photos but gives the impression.

We will be going ashore later today so hope for better pictures.
