The Shadows...

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

Hank Marvin still has magic fingers...
Heard he had retired to Perth, WA. Looks like you can never fully retire from the stage. 8-)

Don't know if anyone remembers The Masters Apprentices, but they made a comeback in the city they originated from, Adelaide, late last yrs.
A few youtube clips, the first 1970 and again 17 yrs later https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ihIGvrfE-5M then a rather ordinary montage of their 2018 concert at the "Gov" in Adelaide https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CNfkSKSk3x8. Not sure why all the originals have back ups as well on stage, maybe the '70's were a tad hard on those that partied hard

Oh Terry, "Does anyone remember The Masters Apprentices"??? You make me feel so old. Who wouldn't remember the Masters? Oh yeah, young people.
The '70's were a bit hard? You do know, the 70's were brought in to help the ones who couldn't handle the 60's don't you?

Thanks for that Terry,I loved the original Masters when they were around ,they were a great band , ;)

the bass player at the time was Glen Wheatley not Gavin Webb as stated :? ( I think) .

The 70's was a bit hard but they were really great times for those of us who can still remember. :o

The montage sound (2018 concert)coming out of my speaker was pretty ordinary but i still enjoyed watching it.

Quite often when musicians get together ,they will get a bunch of their mates on stage with them ,it's great fun ,it's called jamming. 8-)
