Changing of the Guard...

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

Changing of the Guard...

Post by Greynomad »

Well, Well,
It seems the new gen of tennis players are finally getting their day in the sun.
Serena ("Does my bum look big in this?" YES!!) Williams has missed her chance at the AO Quarter Finals, defeated by Pliskova two sets to one.
Novak's out...
Roger Perfect is going home early, too.
Pity Ash Barty couldn't do it for OZ. Maybe next year....
What's the book on the Mad Spaniard facing the Greek Oz in the finals?
(HHHMMMmmmmm. Maybe they should change the name to the International Open... 8-)
Regards & God bless,
Ray

Yes, I WAS WRONG.
I admit it.
Just proves I AM human. :P

Djokovic won his match and is in the QFs.
The Djoker is playing as I type. Let's hope he doesn't succumb like his contemporaries have.

And I thought the Greek, Tsitsi-whatever is an Aussie... he ain't.
It's just that Melbourne has more Greeks than Athens... and I reckon they were ALL at the AO last night.

Oh, and the Mad Spaniard plays the Greek tonight, I believe. After the Djoker wins. 8-)

Is all good.............

Dottie,
You’ve been reading my mail again... 😜

BTW, is it just my twisted sense of humour, or are there others who are amused by the fact that one of the Young Turks of the AO is actually a Young Greek? 😁

And as we watch, it’s the Mad Spaniard vs the Young Turk/Greek!

Who’s ya barracking for? 😳
