Not on Gas

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

T1,
It's the one non-negotiable item on SWMBO's list of inclusions.
She'd even delete a washing machine to have one included in a custom build! :o

Then there are these I looked at online yesterday https://www.thegoodguys.com.au/CompareP ... =Induction Cooktops&searchTerm=&top_category=600001&parent_category_rn=600021&categoryId=3074457345617607668&catentryId=1084797;3074457345619174169;12188;266505&returnUrl=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.thegoodguys.com.au%2Fcooking-and-dishwashers%2Fcooktops%2Finduction-cooktops%3FfromPage%3D
compare the one with 18 heat settings compared to the 9 settings all the others had sort of stood out to me.
Bugga, looks like I can't share my comparison list, I'll post the links in a minute

I'm guessing she has never used one of the latest fan forced convection/grill/microwave combo units. I think they even come in inverter technology now so no rotation plate, wide oven rectangular shape rather than a square box and very even heat distribution. A gas oven was once the ultimate choice, but not any more.

I don't use the oven in the bus, did twice and no more, it is too slow and doesn't get hot enough. Have a microwave that does everything so that gets used. Even the grill on the stove is useless.
