How does one take a 'cutting' from a picture on a computer?

Easy as once you know how!
1. Position the page so you can see ALL of what you want in the screen.
2. Press the following 2 keys... hold down the FN key near the bottom left of the keyboard then hit the PRTSC key (print screen) which is also the END key on my keyboard over the top rt side.
3. Open up your graphics program. Paint Shop Pro, or even plain old Paint! ...& select PASTE. (might be under FILE menu or in Paint it is right in front of you)
4. Trim your 'page' of any unwanted bits.
5. Go up to File, Save As & give it a name with preferably a .jpg extension & either save it to your desktop or to your Picture Folder. (Desktop is easier to findit!)

OK, how did you get on?
This is good even on Facebook where they stop you from 'grabbing photos!)

For those of us with 'Fruit' machines:

For the whole screen:
1. Press Command-Shift-3.

For a selection from screen:
1. Press Command-Shift-4
2. Use mouse to click-drag selection top-left to bottom right.

End of instructions!
(Results are automatically saved to desktop as "Screenshot (date & time)"

Apple goes well with rhubarb.
Trying to help a mate with apple now, What a heap of shit. I have a Ipad and a Iphone that I bought for my drone control, but useless as everything has to be from the cloud and no way I will be giving them my photos and music etc as well as my personnel info.
