Just found these...
After spending half a day welding washers to coach-bolts to replace bent tentpegs for our awning & mat, I found these in the camping shop in Wangaratta...
They're twice as long as my coach-bolts...You do not have the required permissions to view the files attached to this post.

Ray, we love our screw-in pegs. We attach a carabiner to the spring end of the guy rope and screw the bolt with a welded on washer through that. Since switching to these, we find our awning is more stable in the wind.

I bought long coach screws from Bunnings and leave the washers loose. Then I can screw straight through the lower part of the spring. I use long roofing tek screws to hold the mat in place, again, with the washer loose so it doesn't spin and chew into the mat.

Er, yeah...
I meant ‘coach SCREWS’ not ‘coach BOLTS’.
The washers and rubber spacers/buffers are free to rotate.

I bought a set of screw pegs from Aldi when they were on special ( blue box )
I found that they were a bit short and thick to penetrate really hard ground , so I bought from the big green shed 10 Landscape pegs .
They're longer and thinner than the Aldi ones and would even screw into the road base surface at the Kimba Sports Ground .
I use them with large washers on them and screw them in with an impact driver from Supercheap.
For holding down the annexe on the van I use the bright green rachet type of load tie downs from the big green shed along with the landscape screws , making it a real solid combo.

Always helpful to have a second pair of eyes when you’re looking for something... (even if she’s only using one of them).

While I'm looking for Girt's parts, I suspect the cow is looking for a handsome bull... and perhaps focussing on his parts!
