Washing machine

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

Shirley we have our dryer and washer, front loader up on draws. They are on special here at bunnings for $54 dollars, where over $100 when we bought 8 months ago

Our new washer and dryer are both F & P and no problems so far . Dryer works on water extraction so no moister added to the air in the laundry.

I always had F&P back in NZ, got them when I came back here but F&P are not NZ owned / made. They like nearly all the others on the market are all done in the same place. A bit like caravans these days..

Thanks Dot, great idea to elevate the washing machine, I'll have to tell the sister in law to buy a set of the drawers.
FP are manufactured in Thailand, I think.

Then you have to bend down further to open and close the drawers.

FP used to be a NZ company .... not sure now. Regardless they probably are made in Asia somewhere ...., (like Holdens & Fords?)

Bernie & Bruce,
Ray & George do the marking don't you two start or I'll have to give up posting or go back to school.

Bruce I was told that Fisher & Paykel moved to Australia from NZ then went to Asia, Thailand.

I have ordered a Fisher & Paykel top loader 7kg washer from Online Appliances.

Washer arrived so far very happy with same, one exception you can't wash an item by hand & just spin the water out.
Would definitely recommend "Appliances Online" prompt free delivery, thank you Deborah for your recommendation.👍

That is one good thing about the machine we have on the boat Shirley.
We can put it on spin & select 400, 800, 1000 or 1400 RPM.
Standard wash was speed spin is set at 800.
