Weighbridge

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

Robert I can't help with your question but if you have any landscape supply yards near you, pop in and ask if you can do a weight check & for how much. Most will do it free.

Back in the Illawarra area, the local tip had a weighbridge and if you only wanted the weight written a piece a scrape paper they were happy to do it for free, so a few beers always helped to smooth the path to getting the weight check on a regular basis. If you wanted an official weigh bridge certificate that he machine printed and the operator signed, then it cost money, but I think it was something like $25 so not a budget breaking thing. I reckon if you asked at a scrape metal dealer if they had a weighbridge you might get a similar deal.

Hume Highway at Broadford northbound. Victoria is setting up many of its roadside checking stations so that anybody can weigh their vehicle at any time. A sensible idea.
