Newcastle George

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

George the doc may have said you are doing well, but how are you feeling really?

Please let the young ones have a turn at the bus roof jobs from now on mate. xxx

I have been told in no uncertain terms, that ladders are not designed for people over 50. So if ladders are out, you aint going up to the roof of that bus in the next few decades.

Ok learnt something today, I thought a fracture was more like a crack in the bone & not broken right thru, appears they both mean same thing.
George you certainly have had an amazing quick recovery from your broken ribs & don't know about you standing on stilts trimming that high hedge that you have along the front, be careful what you do.

Can I tell Margaret that this is the law now so I don't have to climb ladders any more ;)

Shirley, that high hedge is no more, it was removed yesterday along with a large palm which was beside the drive. Today repairs were made to the brushwood fence which was behind the large hedge. Those repairs will be completed tomorrow and I must say that we are very pleased with the job so far. The changes were brought about by my fall as I was not sure that i would have been up to trimming the hedge once recovered.

Shirley re the # v broken bone.

There's no difference. A fracture is any loss of continuity of the bone. Anytime the bone loses integrity—whether it's a hairline crack barely recognizable on an x-ray or the shattering of bone into a dozen pieces—it's considered a fracture. A broken bone is a fractured bone and vice versa.

Onya, George!
Good to hear your news.
Wish I had similar news... still on painkillers, although dosages are coming down.
Removing the hedge was probably a good idea.
Eliminate the temptation to get up that ladder.
I’m banned from climbing into the trailer for the same reason. 😁
See ya next time you’re in the area.
