Hard day in the tank.

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

This morning Mabel moved out of her old home and into her new shiny one.
I was worried about how long it took. She started about 4 days ago & went right off her tucker.

I'll leave the shell for a day or so, so she can eat some to help build a good strong shell. (calcium)

The babies never happened.
Dave left his sperm 'packet' on her but when she passed her eggs through it for some reason it never 'took'.
Little eggs going everywhere except under her tail. Feeding frenzy in the tank that day.
I banished Dave back to the river for under performing.
In the next few days, once Mabel has gained some strength & hardened up her shell, I'll go find a new Daddy for her.
I reckon she grew over 25mm since the home change.

Well this morning Mabel finally unfurled her tail to reveal a big bunch of fertile eggs.
Dave has been banished to the big black bin of cold water out the back so he won't annoy her as she looks after her eggs.
