Everything must go.

Post by Craig »

Hi guys,
currently I am in Manangatang Vic. Helping my mother inlaw cope with the passing of my father inlaw. I have been asked to sell everything and move my mother inlaw to QLD to be closer to family. I thought I would start this thread and add to it each item as I work my way through this huge task. All prices will be negotiable unless stated otherwise. Putting a price on a lot of this gear is difficult so I won't be offended by reasonable offers. A lot of the prices are around half of the new price or less depending on the item. So watch this space for updates. For more detailed descriptions please send me a message.

Regards Craig

I'm sorry to hear of your recent loss Craig.
It's going to be a hard job being in Manangatang as your target audience isn't very big close by.
You're most welcome to post as much as you like here.
Have you looked at local Facebook selling groups in the area & then include them in the Marketplace.
It's free & is Australia wide audience.
PS. Is that you selling on Ouyen group? Engine crane?

Thanks Bruce. Yes I am aware of the various FB pages and have been posting to them for the last month. I thought I would also post here as there maybe something of interest to someone. We also put the house on the market yesterday. I will be in a flat spin if it sells quickly.

Thanks Dot. Cheryl is doing ok. We have been full time carers to one of grandaughters for about 18 months now, but had to fly her home to Cairns last week. That was very hard on both of us. How are you doing?

Is there a trick to posting pics. Says the file is too large.

Are you on a Mac??
Do you have Irfanview?
For some reason if you resize on a Mac you don't really reduce the pixel count. It just squishes them up! (in my language)
You need to also reduce the DPI. (dots per square inch)
Craig maybe put them up in the photo album & then link to them from here?

There is a limit of 500kb which is about half a megabyte. Really about 70 or 80kb is enough if edited properly.
There is a limit of 1010 by 1010 px (pixels). Really about 900px is plenty. Often 600 is OK depending on what the photo is of.
