Kogan TV

Post by Newcastle George »

Julie purchase a 40" Kogan TV which was delivered today. After removing it from the packaging, which wasn't damaged, I installed the legs, connected the power and antenna and switched it on only to see that shown below.

After my last dealings with Kogan I will never buy from them again. Get onto them asap.

Began the process within 45 minutes of receipt. No damage on packaging or TV exterior.

Bugger, but dropped for sure. My laptop screen looked like that a while back with no visible damage to exterior. Luckily mine was work supplied.
I hope your claim goes OK with Kogan.

We bought a Kogan Tv for Girt.
No problems.
I, too, have bought a fair amount of stuff from them. Never a problem.
Only one warranty claim — dealt with quickly & courteously.
So do contact them, and don’t let it put you off Kogan.
Problem was most likely with the courier/postal service.
Regards & God bless,
Ray

With your track record of getting things rectified by suppliers Kogan would have bitten off more than they can chew if they try to give you the runaround George. I don't know of anyone a company would like less to do the wrong thing by. You do seem to get some bad luck but it has by necessity ensured you are a formidable 'wronged customer'. Good luck.

The point of impact can be seen just above and to the left of the energy label. I'm guessing there was no impact absorbing material between the screen and the cardboard box. Basically a poor handling issue, but who knows where in the supply chain, it could have even been at the factory.
I have found Kogan to always be reliable when it came to a warranty claim, better than PayPal that requires very careful wording to get the claim through but on pat with Aldi that just issues a claim number and you return the item to the store.
