Dottie,
I believe you have a good handle on the mind/body thing.
When I was told I had two weeks to live, I refused to accept that prognosis.
Told the oncologist I planned to be at my daughter’s 21st. At the time she was nine. Oncologist shook his head in dismay at my pig-headedness.
She recently celebrated her 35th... and I’m still looking at the grass from the green side!
When the docs look at my case notes they can’t see how I survived. I’m just too stubborn to die. 😁
Regards & God bless,
Ray

I'm working on the "Too many projects to finish" method, I reckon I've got enough stacked up to keep me going to 120 or so, but the failing vision could stretch that out to around 150 8-)

Knowing my luck I'd get ones powered by lead acid batteries
They had seemed to get better but I must have either been suffering wishful thinking itis or not actually trying to do anything that required clear focus. I get to do lots of virtual page turning when reading Kindle books on my phone, the print is that big I can almost read it by feel  Tried to solder some very fine wiring this morning and realised I couldn't actually see the wire on either piece, so I handed the job off to Margaret :( Maybe after the next injection it might improve, but I think I might have been using my right eye only and the brain ignoring what it saw through the left eye. Now both eyes are suffering the same problem, everything is blurred with the right eye covered and any thing to the left of centre vision in the right eye seems to be like looking through a water bubble, a definite rounded image out of focus

I ask every time I go, but by the time I walk out the door I've forgotten what it was called, I'll get him to write it down for me next trip.
They take pictures of the back of my eye along with a heap of other tests each trip, then the Dr puts it up on the big computer screen and zooms in and out with last mths photo on the left hand half of the screen so there is a direct comparison for each eye from one visit to the next. The right eye went from no visible fluid pocket to quite a significant bulge of fluid in the 6 weeks from one visit to the next and the left eye was substantially worse than the previous visit and was comparable to the second visit, not quite as bad as the first visit, but the bulge was equivalent in the right eye to the bulge in the left eye pre treatment. They both went from no sign of trouble to full blown problem in 6 weeks, just 6 mths apart.

Hi, I had inlections of "Lucentis" when I was getting them.
I have an appointment on Thursday this week with my optomologist as my opticion suspects the bleed has started again.
