#8: Our 3WD Jimny

Post by Greynomad »

We spent a week at Beltana Station, just south of Leigh Ck, SA; 460,000 acres - more than 1800 sq km!! (Featured in Wanderer, Jul 2014)
Went on one of their bush drives (actually, went on three tracks while there: 50km - photo from this one - 60km & 110km to Lake Torrens! All within Station boundaries!).
Crossing one dry creek, I had the distinct feeling that our 4WD Jimny had turned into a 3WD.

I was right... the rear wheel had a very strong grip on fresh air!
