We spent a week at Beltana Station, just south of Leigh Ck, SA; 460,000 acres - more than 1800 sq km!! (Featured in Wanderer, Jul 2014)
Went on one of their bush drives (actually, went on three tracks while there: 50km - photo from this one - 60km & 110km to Lake Torrens! All within Station boundaries!).
Crossing one dry creek, I had the distinct feeling that our 4WD Jimny had turned into a 3WD.

We purchased some Beltana salt bush lamb when we passed through they sell it prepacked frozen. Very tasty will purchase more whenever we pass that way.

Dinner tonight was roasted leg of Beltana Saltbush Lamb with roast veg.
I can take a lot of that torture!

We have another one in the freezer for 'Ron. ;)
