Have a look at the wheels Ray. It was made by the men's shed, the buffer things on the front are made from black plastic plant pots.

David that video was an eye opener!!!
The one a farmer had next to my father's farm ran at a MUCH slower speed that actually allowed time for the water to flow in & out & the valves to open & close!!!
He had rigged to pump on both strokes (up & down) and it was a 10" bucket. He had it through a compensator to even out the pulses & was irrigating 10 acres of lucerne with it.
Water bore depth of 160 feet. He had it counter balanced with a tonne of steel.
