Do they have different adaptors to fit different towed vehicles? What towed vehicle does your adaptor fit?

George here, my understanding is that the towbar for sale is only the towbar not the part that goes on the vehicle, the baseplate and electrical connections that are installed in the tow vehicle to match the towbar are specifically made or modified to fit that particular vehicle and the cost for the parts and installation can be substantial. It would be wise to cost the fit out for the chosen tow car.

Thank you George. We looked at the Hitch n Go set up, but the base plate for each vehicle we needed to tow was mind numbing, then the fact a certification was required for the main linkage set up and that would only apply to one of the vehicles ..... we bought the Gypsy trailer ..... that has issues of it's own so it was a toss up between sorting the Gypsy trailer problems or switching to a tow hitch idea.
I'll wait to see just what "everything needed to tow a suitable vehicle" actually entails ......

If Ray's tilt-a-trailer was long enough to fit the Kombi, that would have been another option.

Terry Gman suggested you ring Ready Brute and ask them if the bit that goes on the car can be fitted to a ? YOUR CAR that you will be towing. or what car is being towed towing at present??
