Tanks has asked me to post this message “for the inmates”:
His laptop is on strike for better power allowance, and he’s waiting for Telstra to come and make a minor annoyance into a full-blown catastrophe.
… or maybe he’ll get lucky and they’ll actually fix the problem.
That’s why he is not posting stuff on the forum.

Re: Message from Tanks
Hosekeeper stuffed up his internet connection while placing his home delivery order from the supermarket in Emerald.
He's been talking to the woodenheads at Telstra, who are sending him a new SIM card to see if that will fix things.
Fairly sure it won't... I suspect the problem is in his internet settings, and Windoze is a language I have avoided learning.
Now, if he had a fruit machine... I'd be in like Flynn!
Otherwise, Keith is still playing with a full deck, although his physical health is not what it was on our last visit two years ago.
I'll let Keith fill you in on that once he's reconnected with the digital world.

She/he should have been outside looking after the hose.

Re: Message from Tanks
My housekeeper coupled my laptop with her mobile phone and I was able to lodge an order with Coles online for delivery on Monday.
We had to reset a lot of usernames and passwords to get it to function. I can now SOMETIMES get a connection to the internet but the signal drops out on a regular basis---and then no connection message.
Keith.

Keith.
I'm now 85 years of age and living in WA, single (gave up looking), white hair, no teeth, no address, no money, no worries.

Re: Message from Tanks
It seems Tanks is experiencing the same problems I've been having.
Login accepted, then when he tries to post or switch to another page, the software fails to recognise him and either dumps him or asks to re-login — often unsuccessfully.
After a 30 minute conversation with Telstra bod today he's still randomly getting through. Awaiting the new SIM.
So it's not me, or my new phone.
