Nightly Goodnight Everyone

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

Busy day hey Deborah? We did a bit more of the insulating the birds cage for the winter. G finished the installation of the bus bog vent. Planted some more Iris's AJ gave me and also more Scotsman's kilts, the blood bulbs have started to pop their pinkish heads through. On the warpath tonight, next doors cat is back to peeing around the place and Brian is not happy about that so after telling them to keep their cat OFF our place we are getting the cat trap then see what they say. Useless bloody more irresponsible cat owners. Gave the grevilleas a drink of seasol as they were looking a bit sad. Brian sent an email to the vets asking WHEN he was going to get any info on the x/ray they sent to the specialist. That was the 14th Feb 2024. AJ's dentist is some dental specialist and she asked him to look at the x/rays and his opinion was the same as my Claytons daughter and her colleagues, but I am just being a bitch to see if and what the vets excuse will be. Bed time so goodnight everyone x :D Good Noggins x :D

Just a beautiful place to be sitting out with a wine or two and a pussy or two. (Brian and Miss Evie) Summer has all but gone I like this time of year, just right. Planted a few more plants the blood plants are growing like weeds. Other than that nothing terribly was done today. Well done Shirley. Brian has not received a reply from the vets re his x/ray yet?? Speaking of Brian, he came back into the bedroom and cuddled up to me purring away last night and this morning, might be a sign ??? he is still doing all the right things so happy with that. Early night tonight, Has Terry left Mannum yet? Goodnight everyone x :D Goodnight RossP x :D

Dot, you have trained Brian well. I love that he can send his own emails. Enjoy any snuggles that he will share xxxx

Well done Shirley, keep playing so well mate xx

Robert, great news. Hope you can stay away from those crappy viruses and be healthy.

Finally I found some time for my shed and it felt really good to be back there. I really didn't do anything outstanding, just getting a shelf full of dots made for earrings. They needed to be fired as they sell really well, so that was a good start. I sorted out a few more jobs for the rest of the week and found some space to be ready for the Armidale stash to be loaded into the shed soon.

So not a lot of interest, but it's just a start to getting back to doing what I love.

If fuel is so bad why has not anyone looked into the cruise ship industry,

A typical cruise ship uses approx. 20,000 liters per hour,(18 tons), so do the sums of fuel used in a typical

10 – 20 day cruise and multiply it by the number of ships (one company has 70 ships) folks!!

Nothing exciting or unusual happened today, in fact very boring day indeed apart from Gman having another birthday and yes I did make an effort, I cooked a roast dinner (Pork) for him. Oh the crackling looked perfect and I couldn't have any and birthday boy doesn't like it  Brian is still waiting for a reply to his email but most likely he won't get one. More rude so called professionals. Quite a few local markets on this easter weekend so might go for a wander to see what rubbish is being offered this year. Last year was more like a $2 shop village. Just looked at my legs and they need the whipper snipper / brush cutter attention, so I am saying goodnight to everyone to get these pegs back to a baby's bum smoothness. Goodnight everyone x :D Goodnight Pet-els x :D

Hope you did a good job spoiling the G'man Dot. xxxx

Keith, I don't understand why people keep going on cruise ships. Seems to me that they are pure incubators for all things germy and once you are a passenger, there is no escaping the germ filled air....not much different to planes I guess. Both modes of transport use too much fuel.

Had a slow-ish day. Had to get a start on finding a bedroom for a pending visit from my sister. Sheets and bedding all sorted. Big clean tomorrow.

I have been running out of earrings, so instead of making any more (yesterday's dots were enough fiddly stuff for me) I found a supply that has been made since covid. I had bought up a lot of necklaces from places like vinnies, then added sparkly bits to make them different. I made them into sets by creating matching earrings from the same bits of glass. The sets that haven't sold are all , now, minus their earrings and the necklaces will be offered to friends. What's left will be returned to vinnies.

The kiln was good, so I now have a tray full of dots to be glued to earring fittings (next week maybe) and the start of my stand for my earrings. Tonight, I have a couple of plates being warmed up over molds to get their shapes. They were done before we left home and I didn't like the shapes, so they had to be started all over again.

sweet dreams xxx

The ships use black oil (actually blue jelly at room temp) the bit of the crude oil left that has nothing of worth to extract, so they get it real cheap to basically get rid of it. They sometimes run on diesel close in shore to a capital city to avoid the bad publicity regarding the smoke from the stacks, but these days most have a cleaning system to remove the smoke from the exhaust ...
