Re: Record fuel prices & opinions
I think we need to be very careful that we don't over do it and get too complicated.
I reckon that's what happened originally to the CMCA Geowiki. Everyone wanted extra items listed until it was almost unworkable.

I wish I had read the OP before we crossed from Norseman to Ceduna. I have some diesel prices but not unleaded and certainly not all of the roadhouses.

Re: Record fuel prices & opinions
Hi, all.
just worked out our fuel cost - about $3.20 a day or a tankful a month.
The Talvor's currently in for a 200k service - not bad in that we bought it last August and have logged around 5k since. For the curious we get around 7km per litre which is fair for a 2.4 turbo diesel with big water tanks. We have had new parabolic springs fitted as the old leaf springs were on their way out - Gold City Springs in Gympie did a very professional job, even cutting the price back for unused parts, the overall price was $1110.
By the by, they just did their third job on Fiat Ducato's in as many months, all through the initial customer passing on the good word.

Hi Shonky! Good to hear you're still punching up the km's!!
I hope it's warmer up there than here!!
Does anyone have a list of towns for the ACT or for NZ please?
I found this for NZ but I only want the bigger towns maybe up to 1,000 people or so.
Maybe someone from NZ can go through the list & narrow it down to 30 or so?

Re: Record fuel prices & opinions
Yep, Thanks Chuck.
There is one on the Adelaide side of Keith that is card only & you have to do it all yourself. No body there to talk to you at all.
You put your card in & OK it for X amount of $$$ & then go start the pump. If you want more, you go OK an extra amount!
It's really for truckies I think.
I reckon if you OK'd it for $150 & then only put $100 in, it might only charge your card for that amount.
I'll enter some of these prices later. It's going to be a job because like you say........ just up the road it was different.
