So sad, but with all the memories you both have she will never be far from your hearts and thoughts.
It's never an easy choice to make and no one can take that bad feeling away, but hey, you did the right thing.
Crunchie deserved all the respect and dignity you could show her at this stage of her life and you have done what needed to be done for the good of all 3 of you.

Yep a sad time for you both and we all feel some of that pain.

Crunchie is now laid to rest in front of our house name sign thingy with the concrete dog as a headstone ... well probably more a centre stone but at least a permanent marker. It made it a lot easier having her sleep her last day with us on her Princess bed by the front door and we have left all her bed collection (all 10 of them) where they were when she passed so it wasn't just a hole in our lives but rather a fond memory each time we pass them. She was a great companion, a snappy bitch and a very independent sole to the end, she will always be with us.

'Tis with a tear in my eye that I post this.

Don't know why 'cos Crunchie was one of the very few dogs I failed to win over.

But I know how much she was loved.

RIP Crunchie & love to you both from Julie & I.
