After an absolutely beautiful day, not a cloud in the sky and I have finally thawed out and we are now parked up at Theresa Creek Dam for the night. Lots and lots parked beside WILBOR here (well not really beside, the closest one is about 50m away), and most look like they are settled in for the winter.

Rain yesterday made it a tad soft at Bedford Weir, needed a bit of 4WD to get out

Hi Jo & Derek, yep we have stayed at Bivouac Junction before, it is a lovely spot. We are going to stop somewhere up the track towards the Towers and then into Reid River Sunday night before dropping into Townsville to the Honda genset shop and then home sometime Monday arvo.

Time now for afternoon afterdrive afterfour drinks ;)

At least while all you people are having a go at me your leaving the others alone.
I know where everything is (Its in the trailer somewhere)
I have a pair of black shoes (only for weddings and funerals). I have a problem as I was told off the other day because my crocks have no soles in them. I told them I was waiting for the uppers to wear out before I got a new pair.
Cant waste Vegemite to use as socks as it is being saved in case I HAVE to wear socks and get tinnea as then it is needed as my Dad always said that during the war they saved the Vegemite for that purpose.
Hitting the road tomorrow and heading to SA. Should only take two weeks if I get a wriggle on.
Regards
Brian

Well caught!
I hope that's not their version of "close formation" flying!!!
More like Brown's Cows to me!
You must have a good shutter speed going to catch the rotors standing still!!

I thought the same thing, but I took it on Chris's phone, a Samsung Galaxy Note II  . I does take nice photos

We were having a little lie down and 2 Chinooks flew over, wasn't quick enough to get a photo of them though. The ADF must have a bit of flying money to burn off before the end of the financial year ;)
