I know he is younger than you and I Dot, but we won't mention that will we.
Just needs a nine inch, small block and auto and a decent front end and - hello hot rod. Haven't you been keeping up with the latest trends

No, I have been concentrating on a big white bus although I can't see very much camping being done in a hot rod.
imagine trying to stuff a bed, loo, oven, shower etc etc into a hot rod all around a thumping V8. Rather have a manual trans, better fun and proper driving not this pussy auto stuff..

When we were racing the drag race circuit one of our toughest competitors was a Morris J van, ran flat 11 sec every run, as consistent as clockwork, 350 Chev, 2 sp Powerglide transmission, 9 inch Ford diff.
I reckon she will probably drag a teardrop or similar vintage era caravan for the camping part.

Are you telling me that you can drive a drag racer on the public roads?

You can make them legal to drive on public roads, we had a Cortina capable of 9.9sec quater mile times and exit speed of over 128 MPH, complete with the baby seat in the back, it was driven to the track and home again.
