Our New Tow unit

Post by dcsingos »

We just picked up a new tow vehicle for our next step in life of spending full time on the road exploring Australia. It is actually secondhand but it was a case buy this one with everything we want or buy a new ute and then having to buy the extras over a long period of time. PHOTOs to come tomorrow, got home in the dark. 2009 Holden Colorado LTR 3.0 Turbo Diesel, 4sp Auto, Alloy Bullbar, Alloy sidesteps, towbar, High Canopy, electric Brake wiring and UHF Aerial and wiring and only 53468 klms on it. One owner, same selling Dealer that serviced it and has all the services done, just need to add roof racks for Kayak, UHF Radio and our new electric brake controller P3 Teksonkia then fit out the tub area with fridge, toolbox and shelves.

Been cold and wet here for the last few days, so no photos yet. I have fitted the P3 and the new Uniden UHF Radio. All work too :o :o :o Must be doing something right LOL. Dual battery unit to be setup on Friday hopefully, have to make up a mounting plate to fit Aux battery over the wheel arch in tub of ute.

Next time you put photos on, try scrolling a little bit further down to the forum facility.
You can make them about 800 px wide.
We'll end up seeing bigger photos on here then.
OK, if you have trouble then use what you used.
Lovely vehicle.
I'll see if I can catch up with Sandy .... a chap here who has setup his for work & camping. (pulling a van).
He's made his own roll out slides & cupboards etc.
Give me a few days?
