There has been a picture resize mod installed so if you encounter problems please let us know.
Unfortunately it only resizes the pictures as they are downloaded by the person viewing the webpage and not before you upload your pictures in a post.
That means if it's a HUGE file it will still take a long time to post, will still take up a lot of room on the website server & will still take a while for that page to display.
It's not a real answer but for those of us that can't resize their pictures it will help them somewhat.

Re: picture resize mod
For APPLE MAC USERS get the small program called IMAGE RESIZER...... I think it is free and is available from the Application Store. It converts all sizes..
I am a man of many talents, being direct is one which seems to raise the most interest...
Re: picture resize mod
Resizing is easy using Microsoft Office Picture Manager if you use a Windows PC. In Windows Explorer, make a copy of the picture you want to resize. Right click on that copy picture and select Open With, then open it with MO Picture Manager. Then go to Picture and Resize. Select Web Large (640x480px), click on OK. Then you can save the file.
Making a copy of the picture first can save the embarrassment of overwriting the original file
