One question at a time please & once the person asking the question is happy with the answer they'll say "next question please" & anyone can chime in with the next question. (fun, fun, fun!)

It may be in the pipeline for future and like most organisations (especially guberment) things are announced too late or once in awhile, too early.

EDIT: or maybe the right hand doesn't know what the left hand is doing or better yet, they've had a change of heart realising that it's not a good idea.

Yes, they have levied a fee, but are failing to collect it....yet. They advised in their newsletter at the beginning of the year that new signs would be erected, and the new charges would apply. They also suggested that Rangers would visit to ensure permits were being provided. It is possible that nobody in St Lawrence wants to manage the permit system.

I'm guessing they will have that in place by next July.... or have scrapped the idea as a dumb move that could chase people out of the area (like council would care) and produce an anti council campaign come next election (now that is something they would care about) For the $10 per night I think I'd prefer to donate that to the coffee shop that was mentioned earlier

Problem with Coopernook no water, only one drop toilet if you want to stay for any length of time & in the middle of the forest.

Jugiong near Gundagai seems to tick all the boxes definitely better than Coopernook.
