The lingering on the topic seems to have lost the 1st & last post??

Seems this option is on the table, but I haven't received any notices - yet.
Experience is a wonderful thing. It helps you recognise a mistake when repeated.

There are a few steps I need to progressively go through.... 1 by 1.
I've already transferred the website to a new server.
Before I can update the forum I need to uninstall ALL the addons including Tapatalk and preview.
I then need to CLOSE the forum for some time while I delete 99% of the files and folders and replace them with the newer version. (3.1.5)
Then if everything is going OK, I can attempt to reinstall the addons 1 by 1.
One of them will be the "notify me of replies".
Daryl you need to make sure you tick the box "remember me". If it continues let me know & I'll look into it.
I have no assurance that all of this will go faultlessly ........... here's hoping!!

And at 9:38 we're back up again.
You'll notice a few differences!
The menu up the top is now a drop down list.

yer pain in the arse mate been having a on going complaint with Cvn's over them doing just that .
So easy to just have view unread posts on the main page . AMH as you know have it so you don't have to open any more as it says how many are unread . Also this thread started at the beginning there was (on my puter ) no go to first unread .

You'll get used to it Bernie!! haha
I had to update the forum software so I didn't leave the gate open to hackers.
AMH uses a different software to this phpBB.
I haven't installed any mods yet & they might fix it for you .... give me time!!

Bernie, If you click on Unread Posts in Quick Links, then save the page into favorites, you can access the forum directly into Unread Posts from your favorites link. I never see the Index Page.
