Good one Bruce. That is a much better link than the one I put up.

I'd just use some security door mesh or perforated steel sheet or even woven S/S flywire.
Have it folded to fit/wrap around the legs that the heater is sitting on. That way, it will protect the lines in case something rolls on to it.

G has got the heater in and tested, it heated the bus up very well even with the door open . He is finding the "instructions" for the temp settings to be "difficult" but he shall sort it out. That lagging for the exhaust arrived yesterday and does a good job so G said. The price of the tape and all the bits turned out to be a hell of a lot cheaper than the auto place so thank you Brucie for that link.

Surely you can tell him how it works Dottie, isn't that part (if not all) of your job description?Dot wrote: ↑Wed Sep 16, 2020 12:05 am G has got the heater in and tested, it heated the bus up very well even with the door open . The diesel heater is now in and all hooked up.Went out to the bus when it was cold and it took 30 minutes from start up to the temp of 22degs. Very quiet when it was on and even outside it was really quiet so for now happy with the test run. So now time to figure out where we shall nick off for a few days and really test the heater out..
