We had a lovely time chatting away, but as you can see by what we were wearing around the fire, although the days were delightfully warm, the evenings had a real chill in them, so most of us retired to the warmth of our rspctive vans, beds, etc fairly early. It was real good to put faces to forum names! We forgot what Chuck looked like because last time we met it was colder and he was fully dressed.

Nah, Dot, none of those were shown coz there was no full moon!

Those of us that did attend with the group had/are having a great time being sociable among ourselves & our neighbors. Firepit in action late afternoon & into the evening, often playing musical chairs as we try to get out of the smoke if there is a breeze. Often having quiz time as we imbibe in some happy juice... so the answers are often bloody weird - but invariably funny.

Brad & Marie left this morning in their new Ford ute with slide on camper, heading into that place on the coast that we went shopping in on Monday... you know the one... getting it serviced then their hoping to head north to do some 4x4 stuff.

Rest of us are just enjoying the sun or trying to avoid the occasional stiff breeze if it's a bit cooler.

Most of all we're having fun & wish you were here as we need some scones!!

Well well, coincidences abound! We were in the Pit Pony pub in Collinsville this lunchtime, before signing contracts for the purchase of the house, and there sitting about to have their pie and chips etc., were Bill and May. So a chinwag later, we said our farewells and asked them to say hi to you lot still at the Lake!
