What sort of amenities if any? or is it just a area to park have a fire make some noise and have a few cool drinks? if so then Bethungra Dam, between Junee and Cootamundra, or Sandy Beach Reserve at Wantabadgery between Oura and Gundgai both highly recomended by us, have been known not to be able to walk back to our van after a lengthy sundowner session
Might add very easy for Bev & I to attend
Some might say I am grumpy but they just don't know me, or I haven't got a drink yet

That is my pref :), there is never pleasing everyone but if the place is pleasant with maybe a town of some sort within a few ks that is usually good enough for the majority.

'Stone the Crows' does look like a bit of fun but it's a bit too far for us.
We'd be looking at a 5+hr drive each way and with both still working it would be out of reach for a weekend away.
That said, we'll be there over the next coupla years. :)
From the web page, early group bookings are essential if you all want to be together.
