More from the Kimberley.
Rain, red water, but still no big wet.

Even more from the Kimberley as I consider timelessness.

Interesting report & photos, enjoyed reading the update on your isolated timeless life style, no stress except for watching out for king browns  thanks to you both for sharing.

Hiya Helen. The dry wet season continues ....... until today when it Pi55ed down for an hour or so. Easterly winds are forecast within the next couple of days which apparently significantly reduces the humidity & signals the beginning of the dry season, but who knows - we've had a dry Wet, maybe we'll get a wet Dry? :D

We are approaching the end of our time on the Dampier Peninsula - we leave next Friday, will have been on the Peninsula for 7 months all up. We've got a 5 week house sit in Cable Beach, Broome looking after a 12 month old Labrador, palm covered block with inground pool. Will be a real holiday after 11 months in the deserts & bush. We've also arranged a house sit for October through to the end of January at a privately owned 40Ha nature refuge in Qld, in the Daintree complete with visiting Cassowary & resident croc!, (& negotiating another sit close by, a bit closer to Mossman for Feb, March & April). Might get a proper wet season over there before heading up Cape York. Leaving Broome at the beginning of June - so will have 4 months to get to the other side of the country. Expecting to spend about half of that exploring more of the Kimberley before heading across the Gulf.

S'pose I must be due for another blog post soon.
