Black Tank dumping

Not the topic of polite dinner table conversation, but if you have a black tank, you know that at times things can get messy.
We carry a 2m length of 25mm reinforced (food grade! ) flexible hose, as well as our 5m x 25mm lay-flat hose on a reel.
I found it easy to aim the ‘contents’ down the dump point hole when using either by adding a 90deg elbow and a 100mm length of the reinforced hose to the ‘out’ end.
(BTW, that’s GREY water...)

I'm even luckier!
I sit & watch the MAN hook up the vacuum hose once or twice a week. My choice when.

David,
We thought it important to choose food grade.
After all, it was food on the way in........
;) 8-)

Bruce,
Why don’t you do what the old sailors did:
stick your bum over the rail at the Head?

All american fittings. Drop the flexihose in the dump point, pull the knife valve and let er flow. When done, do the same with the grey water. Rinse with clean water and put away. If no dump point, I hook up the macerator, and it all goes down the porcelain

Haven't dumped at Ipswich showground then. They found the farthest, most out of the way corner to locate the dump point, then when they found that people could still use it, decided to keep all their portable seating right next to it !

We carry 2 x 10 mtrs and a 5 mtr of 1" suction hose and I still had to hold the end or it would have been all over the ground.
