YUP!
Not only did my
smartphone adjust automagically...
So did my Kindle, my bedside clock (which is Bluetooth-connected to the interweb), and my 'pooter!
All I had to worry about is the old-fashioned analogue kitchen clock, the oven & microwave. Neither of the latter two will function unless the clock is set... and we're familiar with that routine because we suffer frequent blackouts.
I will follow the advice above re the car clock...

We didn't have to adjust anything in Qld, because apparently we can't have daylight saving 'cos it scares the chooks or something.
Strangely though, when I did live in Vic where we had it for years, the cows didn't die, chooks still laid eggs and the curtains all faded the same anyway.

Dave,
but the chooks lay an hour earlier. Which is a real bugger 'cause you have to wake up an hour earlier to collect them. So much for a sleep in.

Vaguely remember a story of an American Indian (I think) saying daylight saving was like cutting the bottom off your blanket & sewing it to the top, 'coz the blanket is too short.
Dunno that I agree. Seems being forced to get up earlier & work (when I got paid to turn up) earlier left more daylight for other things.
However, farmers have their own unofficial DST, 'coz their working day is regulated by the rising & setting of the sun anyway.

But then we'd have to teach them numbers and how to read the clock...
"WHEN THE BIG HAND IS ON THE 12..."

"WHEN THE BIG HAND IS ON THE 12..."
And she'll say; "well, that's a change. It's usually on my ....."
